Refund policy

Last updated: 2026-07-17

This Refund policy applies to all paid subscriptions to GAAI Cloud, operated by DigiPulse (VAT BE1000.838.278) — see theImprint for full legal details. Payments are processed by Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record.

1. EU 14-day statutory right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, transposed into Belgian Code de droit économique Art. VI.47), if you are a consumer you have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from the moment of purchase. During this period, you may request a full refund of your subscription with no justification required. This statutory right is separate from — and not replaced by — the commercial 30-day money-back guarantee on a new purchase described in §2 below.

To exercise this right, emailsupport@gaai.cloudfrom the email address tied to your account before the 14-day window expires, with your transaction ID (visible on your Paddle invoice). We honor a valid withdrawal request within the legally required reimbursement period, using the same payment method as your original transaction.

Note — by starting to use the service immediately after purchase, you acknowledge that the service is provided during the withdrawal period. Belgian consumer law allows this acknowledgement ; if you actively use the service before withdrawing, we may retain a prorated amount for the period of use, per Art. VI.51 §3 of the Code de droit économique.

2. 30-day money-back guarantee (new purchase only)

Every new purchase — your first monthly payment or your first annual payment on a plan — carries a 30-day, full, no-justification money-back guarantee. This commercial guarantee sits on top of, and is separate from, the statutory right described in §1 above.

This guarantee applies once, to a new/first purchase only. It does not apply to a subsequent monthly renewal, a subsequent annual renewal, or any later payment on an existing subscription — renewing customers are not covered by this guarantee.

To request a refund under this guarantee, emailsupport@gaai.cloudwithin 30 days of your first payment, from the email address tied to your account, with your transaction ID (visible on your Paddle invoice).

Your request is accepted for manual review. Submitting a request does not itself approve, issue, or process a refund — a refund is not automatically issued at the point you submit your request, and we do not promise a fixed turnaround time. We review each request individually and confirm the outcome to you by email once review is complete.

3. Cancellation vs refund

Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals — you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancellation on its own does not trigger a refund of the current period.

If you want both to cancel and to request a refund, follow the relevant section above: §1 for the statutory 14-day window, or §2 for the 30-day new-purchase guarantee.

4. Service-side termination

If we terminate or suspend your account for cause initiated by us (for example, a sub-processor relationship we depend on ends, or we discontinue the service), we refund the unused portion of any prepaid period. This is mirrored in our Terms of Service §9.

5. Material changes to Terms or pricing

We announce material changes to our Terms of Service or pricing by email at least 30 days in advance. If you refuse a change, you may cancel before the effective date and receive a prorated refund of the remaining prepaid period.

6. How refunds are processed

All refunds are issued by Paddle on our behalf, using the same payment method as the original transaction, once a request has been reviewed and approved. Refund receipts are emailed automatically by Paddle after a refund is issued. We do not issue or promise a refund before that review is complete.

7. Contact

For any refund-related question, contactsupport@gaai.cloud. For invoice or payment-method specifics, you can also reach Paddle directly via the link at the bottom of your Paddle invoice.

This Refund policy is governed by Belgian law and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). Nothing here limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.
